WHAT TIMEBANKING MEANS TO ME

The smile that breaks up my face

Showing my overwhelming appreciation

As someone fixes my curtain rail

Puts up my pictures

Downsize, de-cluttering, re-organizing

A task found too daunting before

Many thanks for the folder

Delighted to be helped.

Such a relief to get help in my struggle

An incentive to get up in the morning

Having the money to pay for a service

And can’t get anyone to do it

Someone I can trust

Someone I know

Someone with my interest at heart

No more workmen from hell

Good, honest helpers from time bank

A melting pot of good ideas.
